Create the Future

“Create the Future Competition” A Dragon’s Den style competition, where small groups of 12-16 year olds will put together a pitch with their ideas as to what they think the Garden Village should contain in regards to young people. For example, designing a youth centre with features which the young people of today desire.

This activity will include 2x 1-hour masterclasses where participants will receive expert help on what the garden village is, marketing and business planning. Each group will then put together a final pitch and present it to a panel of judges. The winning team will receive a generous prize (Amazon vouchers would have broad appeal), this would motivate a diverse range of teenagers to get involved. In addition, this event would provide a great opportunity for the teenagers to grow their business and entrepreneurship skills.
